So I did not purchase from Amazon, but my local dive shop for both my wife and I. We have had nothing but problems and are now fighting with AquaLung to get some sort of conclusion. We have had one of the computers replaced twice and the other one has been replaced once and we were plagued by the same issues. Dives not recording. Computers randomly showing 0% battery life after a surface interval then dying. Once your turned it back on it would read the correct battery percentage. Just save yourself the trouble and do not purchase this particular model. I've heard good things about other models, but I myself will not trust AquaLung with another computer.

I purchased one new last fall; have 42 dives on it, no problems, until there was...came up from a normal, no deco dive with fully charged battery and it just froze. Tried connecting by bluetooth to the app on my phone, tried using the USB charger cable, pressed every combination of buttons possible, never went into hybernation mode or anything, just had to let it die about 36 hours later. After fully recharging again, it "seems" to be working fine...I dropped it in my pool for a couple hours, no issues.Aqualung said to take it to an authorized dealer; my dealer said they could send it to them, but if it didn't replicate the problem, they wouldn't do anything and just send it back to me...I did the firmare update a few months ago...but there was something strange about it, it didn't work or something, so it reverted...however, the app shows it is up to date...??? You can't factory reset it or reinstall the update...you're basically stuck with what you have and screwed, which is not good at 100' below water! Regardless, I'm never diving without a secondary and a SPG again, and am now looking at the Shearwater Research Perdix AI.

Finally, a decent dive computer with a color screen that is bright enough. I have about 6 dives on this i770 now and use the Diver Log app to change the settings and capture my dives. Log book is now on the shelf for good.Oh and I like the band too.

I have been using an Oceanic OC-1 AI wrist computer for the last 8 years or so with no technical problems. But my presbyopia is catching up with me causing some difficulty seeing the data on the screen. Pitty, since its been a great computer. So I purchased the i770R with a nice easily readable screen. Still does all I need (PADI Open Water/Nitrox) as an experienced recreational diver PLUS it will AI with my Oceanic transmitter! It comes with a dive log software program but I have been using MacDive. The only glitch is I haven't been able to download the dives onto MacDive despite MacDive having the i770R on their compatibility list.

I was in the market for a new dive watch when I came across this wonderful piece of kit.The screen on this dive computer is beautifully bright and colourful and can be adjusted to suit your own preferences, even with the ability to auto dim after a period of time when you are beneath the surface. With only 3 buttons to use the menus are very simple to navigate and its extremly easy to change any settings that you require. As a recreational diver all the information that you would possiblly need can be displayed clearly on the main screen, this includes depth, dive time, no deco time, air time remaining, dive time, gas pressure when used with a compatible transmitter, gas mixture & max depth with current gas mix if using nitrox. In addition to the said information there are 2 colourful bars at each side of the watch screen, one displays nitogen tissue loading and the other being ascent rate. This works by filling the compartments from green to amber to red and then all flashing when values have been exceeded. All dives are logged on the computer and can be offloaded to the Diverlog + app which is very useful. This is done with bluetooth which works very well. It is worth noting that the app can also be used to change the watch settings and update the firmware. There is also a useful compass that can be accessed easily from the main dive screen from which you can mark headings etc.Highly recommended watch for recreational divers.
