The directions were right on the mark. I found them easy to install. They function well, and look nice to boot!

Worked perfectly on my 05 2500HD. Did PB blaster a few days prior to install on cab mounts. Did both sides in about 1.5 hours. Did it all alone except having son help to put them on the brackets.

I put these on my mom's extended cab chevy truck. They were both on in an hour. They use the body mounts and taking the bolts out after so many years takes up the most time. They look clean and will make it easier for her to get in.

My wife and I were looking at adding running boards to our truck to make it easier to get in and out. We wanted them constructed of aluminum for lightness, to have a little chrome to match the rest of the truck, and to be 5 or 6 inches wide. These fit the bill perfectly. The brackets, of which there are 3 on each side, attach to the truck's 3 body mounts. It took an 18 mm socket to remove the bolts, add the brackets, and then replace the bolts. The bracket system creates a very sturdy mount and the running boards are easily attached to them. The instructions and photos were easy to follow. My truck is a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500.

I purchased these running boards for a 2000 Chevy K2500 Silverado 4X4, the product states that it will fit a 2000 Chevy but doesn't state for a 4X4. The boards themselves are very sturdy and made well, the hardware has all the nuts and bolts that is needed to attach to the body of the truck. When I attached the front bracket, the directions show how to install for a Chevy 1500 and not a K2500. I had to drill out a new hole in the frame to attach a support bracket for the front bracket, I am also having to in large the slot that mounts to the body to line up and be straight with the frame. The center bracket support doesn't work either, I drilled out a new hole for the support bracket to attach to the frame. The rear bracket when it was installed was way to long from top to bottom and didn't line up with the other two brackets, so I will drill out 4 new holes in the bracket that attaches to the boards and it should work. I waited too long before I installed them, and was unable to return them. The boards will work for me, it has been a pain to relocate and drill new holes, I watched You Tube video's and it appeared to be very easy, but it wasn't.
