Great buy

I had to gently press mine into place to line up with the holes but the hardware worked fine, although nuts and bolts would be an improvement, and it looks great. Took me about 10 minutes. Had to reach in behind the bumper with the hood up but it was not a painful install at all. I also think it's still got plenty of air flow myself, just get above 30 when it's too hot or change your coolant. Will definitely keep debris and a lot of bugs out of the radiator. Plus it looks great on my truck.

First and foremost the grill is great quality and a perfect fit. It looks great in the lower bumper too. My complaint is about the hardware given to secure it to the bumper. The screws are described on the parts list as "Truss Socket Tapping Screws", which you can see by the picture, is not a tapping screw. Regarding the U-clips and Flange Brackets, they make no sense for securing the grill to the bumper. The instruction pictures are black and white and so dark they are useless. So I didn't use the hardware provided. You'll be better off using some stainless nuts and bolts. But that grill! So nice!

It fit perfectly and was easy to install. Grill is made from powder coated stainless steel.

Material is lightweight which is great. Replaced tag and tag frame on my 2014 f150 stx. Gives a really nice look to the front.. the cons are Instructions are helpful but not the best. And mounting hardware i didn't like, go and put a bolt with a lock nut instead. But overall I would buy again.

Item appears sturdy and well made. Instructions are in accurate but once you figure out the error its easy to install in the opposite manner of instructions.

Awesome product! Fits perfectly, look great, sturdy and well made. However, the other reviewers that noted using your own hardware instead are correct. It is VERY difficult to install with what they provide, although it will work if you can get it done. Here is what you should use instead and what to do:1). Two #10 stainless bolts and nylon lock nuts. No washers needed. I recommend a cap screw but a hex head would work fine. Shank needs to be 3/4” long. Longer is OK but not shorter.2). After installing the grill (you may need to bend the top tabs down slightly but it is a good fit), put the bolts through the spanner plate and then through the bumper and grill. You have to work from above with the hood open. It will be self evident what I mean. Thread the nut on from below using a small wrench. The reason I suggest a cap screw is that it might be easier to hold the bolt in place from the top with an Allen wrench. But a hex bolt will work too. Use the wrench to tighten and you’re done!

Very happy with this purchase. My Ford didn't have a license plate holder and I thought it looked funny with the big gap below the grill and this part fit perfectly. It's great because it looks like a factory part yet gives my truck a bit of a custom look. Very good price too. Installation instructions were a little difficult to understand but it is pretty intuitive so they aren't really needed. I ended up using my own bolts and nuts for the installation only because they worked better with the tools I had on hand for working in the tight quarters where this gets installed.

I went round and round on which grill to purchase in order to cover the gaping hole for my Ecoboost F150. Was concerned about quality, look, etc. Finally decided on this one, and can't remember why, but am sooo glad I did. 3 things I love: 1- fits the gap perfectly. Looks like it's always belonged there. 2- the finish looks better than expected. When I read 'powder coat', I expected it to be a matte finish, which I was good with. It's actually a black gloss finish, but with my black F150 it looks perfect and like a factory match. 3- Per the recommendation of another reviewer, don't bother with the hardware. 2 zip ties and this thing is in and secured within 5 minutes. Extremely easy. From the front of the truck, just slide it into the existing tabs in the bottom of the grill, pop your hood and reach down to fasten the zip ties through the existing holes. Done. Advice, just pop the hood and reach down to fasten. I tried coming at it from underneath the truck at first and that would have required removing all sorts of bolts and parts to reach the necessary location. Popped the hood as a second look before all of that and BOOM ... 2 minutes and done.

Great quality awesome fit. Just a note regarding installation... On my 2014 I did not have to remove the factory licence bracket as per the included instructions. I did however have to remove a factory insert in order to reveal the slots where the grill fits into the bumper. Simply remove the two clips at the bottom and unscrew two upper screws. You can then push in the side tabs and remove the plastic insert. Once you do this installation is more or less as per the instructions. Total time was about ten minutes to install.

This grill is perfect for filling in that hole in the front bumper of F150 trucks. My 2013 F150 was new off the lot with this hole that made it look like something was missing. This grill is made of solid metal. The front of the ribs are chrome, and the rest of it is coated in black giving it good corrosion protection. Its quality is far superior to the plastic hood grill that come standard on F150s.Because of its durability, I know it will fully protect my radiators from damage as rocks and debris fly towards the truck while on the road.Instructions:The printed instructions that come with this are terrible. But it is not hard to figure out how to mount it.Mounting:It has two tabs on the bottom that slide into the existing slots in the bumper. It also has two tabs on the top with holes that match up with the mounting tabs on the bumper. No holes need to be drilled in your bumper to get this grill mounted. It also comes with mounting hardware. I did not like their hardware, so I just used some washers, bolts, and lock-nuts I had in my garage. I felt this was more secure than using their setup. I posted a photo of how I did this. I did drill larger holes in this grill to get the right size bolts in it. However, the mounting tab holes on the truck bumper are large and did not need to be drilled. You have to secure this grill from the backside of your bumper. This is not an easy area to access if you have a fender mounted under your bumper. I accessed it from the top with the hood open. This is another reason I used my own hardware, because it was easier to bolt it on with wrenches than to try to hold a screwdriver.I am very satisfied with this product for its quality build and great looks. I posted a photo showing it mounted to my truck, but Amazon later ended up removing customer photos from all products.
