Ordered the black overlay and it did not fit my 2017 impala. I was told it was because I ordered the steel version. Which doesn’t make sense

Overlay. Drilled directly through original grille. Can still see it thru mesh. Looks ok. You get what you pay for. bottom insert way better but still just added on top of OEM grille
