Easy install and it fixed my coolant leak. And let's not forget it was cheap.

Now that I’ve had this intake for a few weeks I can do a proper review. Install was super easy and straight forward. This intake is definitely smaller that the oem intake, but that actually made it easier to maneuver around and get bolts/vacuum lines back on. I didn’t notice any power loss. I was unaware of the torque procedure before I installing but it has had no problems sealing. The self tapping screws that hold the coil plugs in were also not an issue, I have taken them off multiple times already and they hold fine still.I would definitely say this is a good value. One last thing, there was a spot on the back of the passenger side head that I was concerned would leak that I pictured, but it is not used.

Works great and came with all the pieces necessary to put it all back together, HOWEVER, the only reason I gave it a 3 star and a 5 star review is because one of the threaded slots to screw the bolt for the fuel rail on the back side near driver side firewall, had not been properly machine. I realized it AFTER I installed the intake, and so I had to get in there with a proper size drill bit and make my own slot into the plastic, otherwise I would’ve had a leaky fuel injector on the back side. Also, I don’t trust the seals that come with it, even the factory OEM ones are not that great and don’t last, so I use gasket maker with the included seals to insure I don’t have to pull that Intake out for a lomg, long time.. So far so good.

Was disappointed. Holes missing for the fuel line screws, plastic broken at the bottom, and they didnt included new intake manifold bolts in the kit. Every good mechanics will tell you that when you torque a bold it expand and you should replace them after they have been used. but it is installed and i wont take it off for a replacement part. too big of a job.

Go to Pick a Part, make one from scratch, seal up your defective one with bubble gum, do ANYTHING BUT buy this product! The first one they shipped me looked great until I began torquing down the bolts, 3 out of the 11 tinfoil ringlets they passed off as mounting-bolt holes crushed under the awesome 18 foot pounds of required torque, rendering the manifold useless and costing me the time to tear it back out, send it back and (a definite error in my judgement) wait for the replacement to arrive. Which it did, without question from the seller. Upon receiving the replacement, I gingerly installed it, being sure not to exceed 18 ft lbs and managed (barely) not to crush any of the mating surface. My truck made a few local jaunts without incident and I decided it was time to put it back into regular use. Three quarters of the way from LA to San Diego it began misfiring and overheating (my truck has NEVER overheated) and after pulling off the freeway I found that the intake manifold had leaked most of my coolant into the spark plug wells (thus the misfires) and all over my engine compartment. Needless to say, the poor manufacturing of this part could have cost me my engine (which, aside from the current intake manifold issue, has been running strong for just over 250,000 miles). To top this whole mess off with a cherry; I let my truck sit for a week after it's 109 mile trip on the flatbed and found that the return window for this wonderful part closed on August 1, leaving me to eat the $160 I paid for it and now having to shell-out around $200 for a real one. I sincerely hope that anyone considering purchasing this item sees this review and steers clear!

Bought for my 02 Ford e250 5.4L. matched up perfectly. Already has air intake gaskets built into it so no need for extra gaskets. It was a little different than my original as for the pcv valve tube which acted loose so I applied some red rtv to seal it up. Quality is kinda on the cheap side but should work just fine.

Used this on my 2001 f150 5.4 v8. Its only been been used 1000 miles and so far its working as good as new. Its important to wrap teflon pipe tape on the included pcv valve elbow when pressing it onto the intake manifold. Its too loose if not and causes a vacuum leak, so put pipe tape on it. Oh and don't forget to replace your spark plugs and coil packs while your in there.

Went right on. Perfect fit. Would have given 5 stars but the issue I had was after installing. One of the holes for the fuel rail wasn't pre drilled. I wasn't about to take it back off; So I drove it to home depo and drilled it out in the parking lot. Working great now. I had already replaced the intake once with a Dorman and it lasted 2 years. I'm hoping this one last longer.
