Had my fiancés unit replaced in her 2000 civic, so far a month and a half later it’s still working great. No signs of bad wear or anything. Will update if anything changes.

No issues getting in the part in the vehicle though it was a little tight but that is the way the car is designed 96 honda civic dx .
