I wish I didnt have to give a star. I received this intake manifold and everything looked great until I went to connect the tube near the electronic solenoid. The damn thing broke! It's not supposed to break easily like that. I barely applied any pressure. I totally wasted my money. It would've been okay if it was a bolt missing but this is a big problem.

There's a tsb on the intake manifold for the Chevy equinox in the model years this one is for. The tiny hole no bigger than a sewing needle diameter, you have to drill it out with a minimum of an 1/8th inch drill bit. That hole if not widened gets clogged up and causes the excessive oil consumption for Chevy equinox models in this model range. Hopefully that helps everyone else. Also if replacing it, yourself. Buy everything in that area together to cause yourself less headaches. Because I had to remove the high pressure fuel pump and fuel rail, the fuel rail pulled my injectors out with it, I just hope they're not damaged because I reused the injectors. But you'll have to minimum get your high pressure fuel pump and the fuel line that goes from the pump to the fuel rail. You're welcome everyone.

It fit and was here in time for an emergency repair. No issues yet (knock on wood) but I did like that this part is much smoother and less rough edges then the OEM especially on the inside of the tubes! Would highly recommend over GM price as well..

The seal around the edge is all messed up, wish i would have caught it before I installed it. Now I have to buy an actual intake from GM. Please save your money and buy the real one.

I’d give this 0 stars if I could. When I tested the intake manifold before installing it, I discovered that it wasn’t sealed. This wouldn’t have been able to create vacuum. Where the front and back seal there was a gap. When testing that the pcv ports were clear with carb cleaner the fluid came out of the seal by the top middle bolt location.

ignore the 1 Star review. It works fine the part about the pvc is supposed to happen. The hole by the center bolt is just the other end of the pcv. It flows through the manifold. Infact this one uses the improved design like the newer 2.4s and is much less likely to become clogged up
