Original intake boot ripped and was in a hurry for a replacement. The quality of the boot isn’t that bad especially for the price I was thinking of getting a better quality one but this one should suffice. It was a bit difficult to get on but it’s possible with some force. I will definitely switch out the hose clamps with the OEM ones because these use philips and were stripping easily. Also i don’t know why it says it’s for automatics only this worked perfectly fine in a manual.

It's not quite BMW quality but it's not bad and a whole lot cheaper.

The quality is good, but it will not fit even though the Amazon garage says it fits and going by the description of the product it should fit.I've bought lots of parts for several cars from Amazon without any issues on fitment so this is disappointing.Returning it.

First off let me explain that the seller was fantastic! That being said, the part itself lacks quality in many areas unfortunately, I spent $10 more and ordered a replacement of a different vendor that is much better quality and near identical to OEM. Now, it’s made of a unique material that I can’t describe and a bit stiffer than some where it should be more pliable. Fitment is a 7 on a scale on 1-10. The main issue is shown briefly in my pictures I’ve added. So basically it’s a rubber injection mold process that pumps these out... the problem is the vent tubes like the IAC opening etc are all sealed up out of the mold and they they cut the seal open with what appears to be an exact-knife style cut so there is just these random out of shape and proportion which mess with your flow. If this was on a 305 IROC Z that’s be one thing but these BMWs are beyond finicky and that just doesn’t cut it. Flow when I received it was nearly closed up. I tried honing the ports out in the rubber the best I could with similar size drill bits that I teamed out the openings to be some what round and give it some flow. I then installed it and it ran horrific, I ended up removing it, tossing it and ordering near identical from other vendor. Even where the lock downs go around the ports the original and other vendor have lips so you get a nice tight flush fit when snuggling down the clamps. Well these don’t have all those lips they simply just flat out terminate at the same diameter and your clamps fall off when trying to install it. Other vendors was a snap to install. See my pictures just as a slight example as to how you see the ports closed up and then me attempting to ream out. It wouldn’t be so bad but when teaming out to correct ID inner diameter to OEM, you thin out the rubber to nearly nothing so you almost break through the rubber boot to correct it’s mold flaws. I’ll end with they were great sellers and very understandable but a waste of my time and days of wasted time and effort and anticipation for nothing... Spen that extra $10 for a total of $28.95 and couldn’t be more happier with the other vendors product. Oh well it’s too bad. Saving $10 just was t worth it. Thanks see the pics

Seems like pretty good quality for the price. The small tube that connects to the hoses off the throttle body (upper right tube on the seller's picture) is a tad short, so I needed to move the adjoining tubes out about 1/2" to get a good seal.
