Overall these are great though I wouldn't call them plates. They are more like shallow bowls. The design is beautiful. They are light and don't heat up much in the microwave. They seem sturdy enough for every day use. They came well packed and survived shipping and delivery.The one minor issue I have is the words that are part of the design. They are shown in the photos - I just didn't pay enough attention when I ordered them. To me they detract from the overall beauty.Another annoyance is the very sticky and hard to remove label on the bottom. I found using a little Goof Off removed them nicely.Overall I definitely recommend these, just pay more attention to the photos than I did.

I love the shape of these bowls. They're somewhere in between a bowl and a plate. They are made of thicker ceramic. One did come broken but it had plenty of bubble wrap so there must've been something really bad to break it. These would be so pretty but the words on them are super weird.
