We had this put up by a handyman and it’s so sturdy. It is a perfect length from the wall. The price was great. Really very happy with this product. It is SOLID

Overall not very happy with the product. The paint job wasn’t done properly, leaving bare metal visible at one side. There was zero instructions delivered with it and the accompanying bolt set is clearly not sufficient to be used on a brick wall. (See photo)

After reviewing lots of options, including ceiling mounts and portable bag hangers, I settled on this wall mount because of the strong ratings and helpful customer reviews. I just installed mine, and it looks good. Helped up well to a flurry of kicks, punches, knees, and elbows last night. But time will tell if it stays up!I'm writing this review to share my advice on how to mount this beast. It does take some fiddling! I came up with my plan after reading a bunch of reviews here to see what other people did, and after consulting with my Sifu and other classmates. I share this for the benefit of anyone else interested in purchasing and mounting this product. This is not the definitive guide, but it worked for me so far!Tools: Regular drill and drill bits. Impact drill with hex bit. Stud finder. Level. Circular Saw. Tape Measure. Trusty Pencil.Supplies: 1 2x6 board 8 ft. long, 12 4" long 1/4" Lag Screws, 12 1/4" washers (3/4" diameter), 6 1.5" long 3/8" Lag Screws, 6 3/8" washers (1" diameter). I recommend buying a few extra screws just in case you over-torque one and it breaks. Yeah, that happens.1. Use a stud finder to find three joists in a row. You may want to drill a few holes to confirm their location.2. Cut the 2x6 in half. It should be long enough to span all three joists.3. Pre-drill 6 holes in each piece of wood (2 on the left, 2 in the middle, 2 on the right). The holes should be a few sizes smaller than the 1/4" lag screws. ***The holes must line up with the three studs!4. Measure your bag to find the right height for the wall mount. For my 6ft Ringside 100lb Muay Thai bag with chains, swivel, and spring, I had to hang the mount at about 9ft high. I highly recommend a spring and swivel to bunt the impact on your wall mount.5. Mount the two pieces of wood to the wall using 6 1/4" lag screws (and washers) for each piece. Make sure the holes align with the three studs. Also, make sure the boards are level. They should be mounted one above the other to create a platform for the metal arm wall mount. Don't forget to use the washers! Use an impact drill to install the screws.6. Mount the metal arm to the wooden platform you just created. Mark your 6 holes, pre-drill them, then install the arm using the 6 3/8" screws and washers.7. Attach your bag. Voila! You're now in business.Be sure to find a location for your bag that has enough clearance to allow for bag swing. Also, you might want to put some padding on the wall behind your bag to prevent the bag from damaging the wall when it swings. Most of all, have fun training with your bag!

Seems sturdy I’ve been using it about a month I’ve done about 25-30rounds on it with some heavy punching and it holds up nice. I have a 150lbs heavy bag and so far no issues. You will need to attach a2x4 because it doesn't seem like it’ll go directly into wall studs evenly. I had a buddy of mine help me he’s it took us about 30 minutes and I spent about $15 on the wood and screws. I’m getting some good workouts in this isn’t a substitute for a actual boxing gym but it’s perfect for home workouts for fitness, endurance and strength

Bought this for my 70lb bag, the brace itself is good material and the weld that holds the bag harness is solid. My only critique is the anchors and screws it comes with. Scrap those as they’re practically useless. I used plywood and construction screws, mounted it against the studs on the wall and then used lag bolts to screw in the mount itself on top of the plywood. This is my first time doing anything like this so it took a few visits to Home Depot and back.Might buy a new bag as it’s a little too low, but that’s outside of the mount itself. Holds well so far, let’s see how it looks a year from now.

i mounted this in my garage gym. 3/4 plywood on the wall then two 2×6 mounted with 4" grk screws. mounted the stand with six 6" grks to the 2×6. only downside is it shakes the whole damn house when you hit the bag!

To install into wooden studs, I followed advice I saw from another review: trash all the screws it comes with. Use 3 two by fours to span multiple studs as pictured. Use 4 1/4 inch lag screws per two by four (12 total) to attach to studs. Use 6 3/8 inch lag screws to attach the mount to the two by fours. Use washers with every screw. Be sure to drill pilot holes into the walls and two by fours before putting in screws.Been using it a few weeks now with a 100 pound heavy bag, got some great workouts in and the mount is rock solid! Perfectly sturdy!

The delivery and packaging was unusual and there was some minor damage (dings and chipped paint). The box wasn’t sealed and it was wrapped in a sort of elastic medical cloth/wrap. I decided to keep it and just spray paint it a nice flat black finish.I bought the mount to hold up a 100lb heavy bag in my home gym. It is attached to two 2x6s that span across 4 studs. 3 of the mount holes go directly into a stud. After putting up the bag I hung from the mount and swung on it to get an idea of its sturdiness. The mount did not budge even with 300lbs exerting side to side force. I am pleased with the result and definitely would purchase this mount again.

This wall mount is steady and can hold a lot of weight. The bag in that pic easily weighs 40+ kilos. And I punch to hell out of it and the bracket does not move (as expected). It’s a solid mount.
