The rope is thick, probably thicker than you realize. In a comment elsewhere it says the rope is 5/8" thick. I would argue that it is closer to 3/4. I couldn't get it through the openings in the hooks for our kids "ninja line" so I had to return it. It's a shame because otherwise it seems like a well made product.

I bought this as a boat ladder because I like way it is constructed. Takes some effort to use, but works as well as other flexible ladders. Can't comment on durability yet.

Bought another ladder on Amazon that was returned for poor quality (loops began fraying right away). This rope ladder has been reliable and of high quality. Used indoors for kids to climb up to a loft.

My Husband was able to hang the rope off our pirate ship play house. Our 4 year old grandson wasn’t ready to try it. Maybe next year :)

I swear it looked different when I ordered it...like all florescent yellow?? but the pic I see in my order is exactly what it is. So far we love it, hanging on our tree. Hangs down and we can also loop it on another branch where it works as a monkey bars!

Not the fault of the manufacturer, but this thing is nearly impossible to climb up unless someone holds the bottom to the ground. The product is mice thick and heavy duty. Just realize kids won’t be able to cling up it in most circumstances
