*Update - Junk it is, replacement product broke just like the first after a few pulls. After ordering a replacement the seller was nice enough and reached out to offer a refund. I was just hoping I got a defective product and the next one would work. Unfortunately not. The search for a decent replacement continues.I would caution against buying this product.**——-I got this as a replacement for my TroyBilt TB360 push mower as it matched the replacement parts specified by my manual. It fit perfect and I was excited that the little spindles were metal compared to the original plastic ones that crapped out.After replacing it, worked great and started right up. Shut it down and went about other things I had to do.Later that day went to mow and on the first pull the piece obliterated sending the little metal flanges flying into the engine housing. After taking it apart I was able to dig them out.Sent for a replacement, hoping I just got a defective item. Will see and update later accordingly.

Pops right on just like the oem. Still works well months later. Quicker and cheaper than getting an oem replacement. Replacement for a Troybuilt lawnmower.

Bought this item, it arrived, I put it on. All of that went great. First time I tried to pull it wouldn't recoil. So I started to take it back off and as soon as it was loose enough it recoiled. So put it back on snug not tight at all and it worked for the rest of the day which was maybe 8-10 starts. following week went to start I and it sounded funny like something broke. It did. The teethe that come out to spin the motor, 1 of them broke off.buying a new one today but not that brand.A few days later! Anzac has gone above and beyond to repair their reputation and I think that deserves going from a 1 star to 5 stars. I am Doing more business with this company.

It was easy to install and I think it is actually better than the original part it replaced. Pretty happy I will not have to worry about replacing it again. I went through two in a year of original part replacement. This one has a higher quality rope and handle that just works better and feels more reliable.

Maybe I didn't read complete description well? This part fit my mower "Powermore 173CC engine" after alot of modification to the mower and will power, a few swear words etc. After bending, twisting the part to get bolt holes ti properly align the top cove had to be modified so that the return of pull rope was possible.It's not pretty, I had to cut and remove 3/4 the cover which left enough to keep the tank mounted and the pull start to return function, I could have sent it back but could not delay the grass from growing trying to find exact metal replacement. If you buy this make sure your mower starts on first pull as my opinion the plastic will not last like original metal part.Would be happy to spend more for correct NOS replacement if still made or available?
