Got this monitor somewhat as a sidegrade from my Lilmon 5, and I've been pretty happy with it so far. There's a couple things that stood out to me using this monitor over others I've owned, so I'll focus on those.First off, the slightly larger size is great. I've been using 5 inch on-camera monitors for a couple years now, and I do visibly notice the slightly larger screen size. The screen quality is pretty great, and the brightness is sufficient for some outdoor use. Direct sun will still cause some struggles, but this monitor is quite affordable so it can get away with the lack of some brightness. Color reproduction is great and I feel like I can fully trust what I see on screen to be reproduced by the footage I download. In terms of IO, I like how its laid out, with the HDMI on the left, it lines up well for my R6. In addition, you have a couple options for power, either 12V or USBC. For me, the 5V USBC is perfect, because on my VMount batteries, some of them don't have two DTAP (my old monitor used DTAP to barrel), and I always power my camera off DTAP, so being able to use a small USBC cable to power the display is great.I really do wish that the barrel plug had a locking thread on it, but it is what it is. DC8V out is cool, but I'll never use it on my setup. On the bottom and right side, you have 1/4 inch mounts, and they're sufficiently deep to match up with my smallrig monitor mount. This is important, because two displays I've owned before didn't have deep enough threaded mounts, and it was always super annoying. This display also comes with a monitor to coldshoe mount, and it works fine, but has no rotation, so I will not be using it. Nice of them to include it tho! Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this monitor, and I haven't even touched the on-monitor features like luts, peaking, etc. For the price, it's pretty good.
