High quality monitor! Love it so much! So far it seems like a solid purchase. The image quality and the viewing angles are what made me want to buy it. Screen is crisp and the menu system is somewhat easy to navigate. Super sharp image, it's sharper than my Apple iPad Pro actually. This monitor has a lot of pro level features as well. Can't believe I can get a such good monitor at $168! Best thing I love it because it has a mic holder on the side! And it's also very light. Audio quality with headphones is good as well.

Upon opening this package, I was immediately impressed. The packaging was very nice, it came with useful accessories, and was the perfect size. Below I’ll break down the pros and cons:Pros:- Screen Quality- Screen Brightness- Added Features (Zoom, Focus peaking, Image Flip, Etc)- Easy Setup- Plug and Play functionality- Weight and Build Quality- PriceCons:- Doesn’t come with battery, but most accessories don’t so it’s not a huge deal.Overall, I am very impressed with the performance of this monitor. It’s my first foray into using a external viewing solutions, and I can see why they are so useful. And for $130, I was really surprised and the screen quality as well as the features it essentially added to my camera. I used this on my Canon 80D, and it gives you focus peaking even though the camera itself doesn’t have this feature. While I haven’t used alternatives like Atomos or SmallHD, I’d be happy to recommend this, especially as it’s a fraction of the price.

Es un muy buen monitor pero no cuenta con pass thru, ni con un buen soporte, el brazo que trae no es el mejor. Usamos en la productora otro soporte para este monitor y lo ponemos al final de la línea de hdmi.

I've got really mixed feelings here.In some was the screen is a decent value for the price. It doesn't have the greatest quality feel, but it has a reasonable selection of options and features. There are just a number of little issues. I haven't had any screen, image quality, or signal issues. One of the things that seemed nice was the flip arm setup. The arm itself is OK, it doesn't always go on quite straight but that's not the important part. The flip doesn't work great. You have to tighten it to just the right level to be able to flip and if you flip enough it can come loose. But the bigger problem is the button position. All of the buttons are on the top of the monitor, so if you flip it then half the buttons are available but upside-down, and half the buttons are blocked by the bar. I decided to switch to a gimbal, which I can flip just as easily without losing the buttons. While there are lots of options on the device, the interface to get to them is a little clunky and figuring out all the buttons takes a moment. I suppose it's just as bad as my Sony camera's menus, but it's not a positive. On the bright side, there are 4 programmable hot keys which have reasonable functions already programmed. The device doesn't come with a battery but uses Sony NP batteries, which is standard operating procedure for this kind of camera equipment. The unfortunate part here is the battery slot. In order to release the battery you can't just slide it out. You have to press on a small tab just behind the battery, and then slide towards the tab, which is where your fingers sitting between the battery and a plastic wall. I can't tell you how many times I've pinched my fingers already. The device features a 1/4" sockets on 3 sides, excluding the HDMI side. There's also a 12V in and 8V out which I'm not using but probably is great for some people. On the bottom there's a headphone jack I haven't tried and a Mini-USB for updates, which is really weird and awkward. What kind of device released in 2018 has Mini-USB? The world is transitioning Micro to C; if it wasn't for the fact that I'll probably never use this port it would be a real annoyance. While most of the Amazon store listing never mentions HDMI output, there's a part near the bottom that says "HDMI Input/ Output Support Format". The device does not have any HDMI Output, and it's a real disappointment compared to other devices. One thing I don't really want to score against the device but you should know: the cables in the package are terrible and will probably break on you. The Micro HDMI broke on me with a day of very light usage. I don't think this should make your purchasing decision, just be aware that you'll have to spend $6 on a cable. It would probably be better if the manufacturer didn't include these cheap cables with the device because I suspect there will be more hard feelings than it's worth. So to sum up: Video worked well, has lots of options, Buttons/UI are clunky, flip bar doesn't really work, no HDMI out, battery setup bad, Mini-USB?, buy your own cables. If you're looking to get more video features for the price and willing to accept that the package is flawed then this might be for you. If you're looking for something more user friendly it's probably not.

My Micro Camera needs an external monitor to function and this worked perfectly. It is light, easy to see even in bright daylight and a great option if you want a cheaper alternative to the SmallHD monitor.

Andycine A6 is a great monitor for the price. Great quality 4k screen with easy and intuitive features like focus assist / peaking, false colors, image flip etc. The included HDMI mini cable is junk. It broke after one use, was replaced by the company, and then the replacement broke again after one use. I got stuck at two different client shoots without being able to use a monitor. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.... needless to say I've ordered multiple HDMi mini cables now to be over cautious. Andycine shouldn't skimp so much on the cable quality.

This monitor has received a lot of positive reviews online and I agree with those reviews. Fantastic monitor. It's bright and sharp enough to use outdoors in sunny weather with the supplied sun shade. Size is perfect and the monitor is well-made. Overall, excellent value and quality for pro video shoots.
