Somewhere in the production line, a bracket got flipped and a hole was drilled through the wrong end. The small holes for “through hole” screws that pinch/ anchor the bumper bar into place is missing said holes. So I only have one side fully tightened on one bumper. That quality control could be better, I’m sure I’m the only person to ever get a defected bracket because that’s my luck usually. Not worth sending back, but be aware there is little to no quality control before they ship it.

I did a lot of custom work to these to get them to fit exactly how I wanted them to fit on my Gatekeeper. But it was so worth it in the long run. Right out of the package they are great tho. Highly recommended.

This is a nice, minimalist looking bumper set for my SCX10. They are easy to install and give the truck a sleek look, too. They are well made and have survived a few times out in the woods with no scratches.

They are good looking little bumpers but the side tabs that mount to the chassis are very long and way too thick.

I installed these on my Element Ecto and they are just about the perfect width front and rear. I run a full droop setup, so I will be trimming the front bar slightly to make sure my tires don't rub. Otherwise these bumpers are a great fit for a Ecto (especially if yours is sitting at stock height). If your Ecto is still running the sway bar and trailing arm suspension in the rear, you might have to get more creative with the rear bumper mounting. I've converted mine to four high-clearance links out back, so mounting was a snap. This bumper should help keep the body from cracking around the taillights, which is one of the weak points on the body.
