These stopped the constant draining and returned proper flushing of my American Standard toilet. They are easy to install. There are Youtube videos showing you how they are installed. Before changing it for leaking I had to hold the handle while flushing. Now just quickly press handle and let go as it was designed to do and did when toilet was new.

I paid extra to get the American Standard version of this, & yes I installed it correctly, and the toilet still leaks. I do NOT recommend this part. Plus of course it's a pain to install.

This part worked for a few days for me. I thought my problem was solved and I was originally happy. The toilet started fake flushing again. I reached out to American Standard customer service and they informed me that this part is discontinued and there is a new part number to replace it! The new part number is 7301111-0070AP. don’t waste your time purchasing this one.

this was not American standard, it was an impresa replacement they took one out of 2 pack that you can get for 7.99 and sold me one for oem at 19.59

My American Standard toilet started to leak and was constantly running. I read where I needed to replace the entire flushing mechanism. I was prepared to purchase the mechanism but I did an additional search on YouTube and found a video demonstrating this ring seal. I then looked on Amazon and found this one. After I received it I found that it is identical to the original seal. Replacing it was a simple five minute job. I ordered two just to have a spare in case another toilet starts leaking.
