AMBIPOLY Jazz reeds extend the new revolution in saxophone reed-making, providing players with unprecedented playability and depth of tone to match the expressive capacity of great cane reeds. Jazz cut is similar to current modern-cut reeds, featuring a slightly thinner vamp and heart with a subtly modified tip, to play with less resistance. This gives the reed a crisp and lightning fast response while maintaining a warm, intimate and inviting tonal signature. Jazz cut gives plenty of projection, power and flexibility with secure, clear altissimo. Fully adjustable with standard reed tools. Warrantied for 6 months of continuous, consistent performance. Lifetime expectancy of at least 12 months. Simply a better reed. AMBIPOLY is a next-generation, advanced premium synthetic reed that feels and plays like great cane. AMBIPOLY reeds deliver unprecedented value with these benefits: - Authentic, concert-ready sound with immediate response, clarity and full harmonics over an impressive dynamic range - Secure articulation and stable intonation with strong, even projection and crystal clear altissimo - Consistent, reliable performance regardless of temperature, humidity or altitude - Guaranteed durability that does not gradually degrade with use - Double-injection molded for amazing consistency - Absorbs water for richer depth of tone and stays hydrated for hours - Fully adjustable and clippable with standard reed tools - Extremely long lifespan - Mouth-safe, durable material never warps, splits, splinters, cracks or grows mold - Pairs to the mouthpiece and embouchure for true cane-like performance

Would rate it 5 stars except to me these synthetic (and most synthetic) reeds are way overpriced. I use these (Jazz cut) on my alto sax and find the play well and sound good. I prefer the sound of this brand over every other synthetic reed I have tried. Though subjective, it just seems to have more body and character to the sound where other brands sound thin and bright. I do slightly prefer the tone of regular cane, but for a more casual player like me, the ease of use of these reeds far outweighs the difference in tone and I highly doubt anyone but me would even notice. I have been playing on my current reed for about 8 months with no apparent degradation of playing quality or loss in tone but have purchased a second for backup when this one fails. For reference my playing setup: Selmer Supreme Alto, Theo Wanne NY Meyer / Gaia mouthpieces and a Silverstein Ligature.

Durable reed! Tone is also good. A little bit harder comparing with similar reeds

El registro agudo muy brillante, el medio sordo, el bajo desbalanceado....Los sobreagudos super descontrolados, cada registro sonaba como una caña diferente

Saxophones, mouthpieces, reeds are all subjective depending on the player and combination of equipment used. For me, one of the appeals of synthetic reeds is the ease of use. You put it on and play. I have tried over half-dozen synthetic reeds and Ambipoly doesn't rate. I tried several strengths. It is just not a well made reed. In their attempt to seems like an actual cane-reed they lost the concept of the ease of synthetic reeds. I personally have found Legere American Cut Synthetic reeds to be the most responsive.

本番前のナーバスになると、楽器かリードに責任転嫁したくなる。結果、助かりました。気になる点はMP内のつば音です。

I like the balanced sound and the precision cut. I think the numbers run harder than typical bamboo reeds. Feels a but like plastic but plays well.

This is by far the best synthetic reed ever made. The tone is warm and not overly bright, much closer to cane than any other synthetic reed. The response is excellent in every register. The altissimo response is fantastic. The only thing this reed doesn’t do very well is subtone. Highly recommended!

有線電話がスマホになったようにいいものが取って代わるのは時代の趨勢ではないかと思います。ケーンにこだわらないのであればこれは十分堪えうるものだと思います。L社のリードが前線にありますが,それをも上回る品質だと思います。
