I bought this to beef up the motor area on my Maxx along with an aluminum gear cover and it works flawlessly! I initially installed it with the stock 4s motor in it along with some foam tape to brace the motor. I then swapped a 2000kv 6s Traxxas motor and speed controller out of a Sledge and it actually fits great inside the mount! This mount is slightly different from the stock mount for that reason. The motor just barely fits, but it works great even after several full power 6s runs. Definitely recommend!

All the parts do not fit a 2000kv motor, very disappointing
