Must be modified to work with the factory Xmaxx gear ratios, but is very sturdy. People shouldn’t have to modify a product to make it work as advertised, but I appreciate the affordability and solid construction. Just make sure you have a Dremel and grinding wheels to make the sled that holds the motor sink down further, and some larger pinion gears to make up for the larger gap. If getting this mount to go with a new motor, chose a lower KV motor since you’ll need a higher tooth count pinion gear

Works as it should using the Hobbywing 56118 800kv motor.***Dry Fit Everything First WITHOUT the motor and no Loctite******DO NOT COMPLETELY COVER YOUR SCREWS IN LOCTITE*** ( Doing that will cause major headaches later on)Takes a little patience, because the 2 main pieces have to be assembled from below like you're putting on a stock mount.Would've been nice to have one solid piece. That's the only downside. It's the only reason why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise great quality and durability.Use a small amount of "Red Loctite" on the tips of the 2 screws in the rear where motor mount sits flush with the chassis near the pinion gear only (These screws are the ones used underneath the chassis)Use "Blue Loctite" on the tips of the 2 screws (from underneath the chassis, closest to your ESC.Install the small slide piece on the motor using "Blue Loctite" on the tips of the 4 screws.Slide motor between the posts.Using the provided top bracket, use "Blue Loctite" on tips of the 2 screws in each corner at the top.*DO NOT use loctite at all on the Center Screw* (It's used to set the mesh, it raises and lowers the motor.)Same process goes for the side bracket screws that hold your motor in place, once you've set your mesh. Blue Loctite on tips of 4 screws.I only received one side bracket (not sure if that was a mistake and I should've received 2 side brackets) but I made it work using washers.I used stainless steel screws instead of the ones provided. (My personal choice)Also I didn't used the provided support bracket that goes underneath the motor. I instead used a dense foam after I took the picture above.

Easy installation and perfect fit with my hobbywing 1100KV. Definitely a better deal than all these other overpriced adjustable mounts.

Fits my 1100 kv motor in my xmaxx perfectly. On a 30t pig on it clears but it would over heat so I put in a 23t arrma d8 safe pignon but the motor mount neded slight modifications. Perfect

This does not fit the xmaxx stock motor or other similar size motor (hobby wing). I had to modify it for it to kinda work (drill new holes).

The proved screws are to long or the holes aren't drilled deep enough. The screw hole in the top of the motor mount isn't centered so it doesn't line up with the hole in the top brace. Most of it can be fixed if you have the tools but you shouldn't have to.

This motor mount worked fine for the xmaxx runningbelt drive, does require aluminum motor plate on stock xmaxx motor.I also used the aluminum mount retainers under the chassis,So far it has held up to 3 x45min runs and no slack on belt and no issues very happy customer also this mount is definitely comparable to the ones selling for much more money.
