This is a good replacement axel. Make sure you have grease and ball bearings.

I converted my quick release rear rim to 10mm thru axle to use it on my dirt jumper. I had ordered a 175mm axle, but it is too short. The 185mm can accommodate a chain tensioner, with perfect threading on the axle bolts.

I had to modify the ends with axle extensions. I have a 29er plus frame.
