The posts that mount the bumpers to the bumper mounts on the body were a bit larger than the holes I had to mount them into so I had to grind them down, the holes going through those posts were a way to small so I had to grind them out bigger, they also come loose very easily and I had to use some loctite to keep the screws that mount the posts to the bumper itself from coming loose.

The front bumper barely fit and and the back bumper not at all on the redcat gen 8 Scout II! the screws also snapped! Awful cheap quality!

The bumper finish is very well done. The metal shackles are very nice. The mounting posts are well made but the holes in them are to small to receive original mounting screws, and are not threaded for new ones. The hitch and ball are great and well made, but the single screw threw the top over bumper I did not like. I drilled a hole and spent a minute with a file to make it square. The hitch fits like a dream with the provided screw and holes after the upgrade. There is lots of adjustment for fitment and options for lights and winch.

I ordered this bumper kit for my redcat gen8. First I tried running in the screws little by little and backing it out to clear out threads and go again. The holes are way too small, got so tight it stripped my screw. Ended up breaking in half inside the threads, these should just be drop through. Bad quality screws, bad quality mount. The rest is working as intended so far. Very disappointed.

The screws provided are too short to mount the bumpers to the mounts. Also the screws used to mount to the frame are too large to fit through the holes in the bumper mount. You cant even use these!They come with a hitch, but no way to mount the hitch either? What is actually going on here.

Disappointed. For the price, You’d think that they would ensure you receive all of the parts and include the screws that you need to actually install the bumpers on your truck since you obviously can’t reuse the original screws.
