As someone who frequently works on vehicles, I find it essential to have a reliable and efficient bit set, and this set meets that need for me. The ability to switch out the bit quickly is crucial for me when I am working in tight engine bays or laying on concrete while working underneath and am getting tired which makes every second count. The reinforced torsion zone is nice as it should help to prevent breakage under heavy torque, which many of us know is a common issue with lower-quality bits that can snap or strip under impact. The strong magnetic grip is another nice feature, as it ensures that screws stay secure without slipping, which is especially helpful when dealing with deep or hard-to-reach areas. Nothing will make you madder than being near the end of a job and now you have to spend 30 minutes trying to find a lost bolt or screw. The extended design with the included 2.3-inch extension socket provides extra reach, which does make it easier to access recessed fasteners. The ad states that it is made from S2 alloy steel with a rust-resistant coating, so far I see nothing to the contrary so these bits appear that they are built to last, even under brutal conditions.

I am often frustrated by short screwdriver bits that can’t reach deep enough to hit the target when they are mounted to the drill, or a socket handle. This set of Allen wrench bits is extra-long, at about 4”, and that makes the difference for me in a lot of applications. Plus, they have included an extension socket to take it over 6” of reach. The extension socket not only provides more reach, but it also makes it easy to swap out bits when you need to change sizes. Just pop out the bit and slide in a new size. All of this can really help out on the job to make it quicker and easier to get it completed. In addition, the bits cover a wide range of sizes, in both Metric and SAE. That is great versatility, and it makes everything more efficient. The bits themselves are made of strong steel, and the tips are well-formed and tough. I haven’t had any issues with stripping or breaking. A very nice feature is the magnetism. The tips hold the hardware you are tightening to make it easier to get it the spot needed. It also holds the hardware you are removing so it doesn’t fall into a crevice in the engine, etc.. I like this set and think it is a good value.

Most people don't work that much with Allen head bolts or screws, but when you do, you may find yourself needing these.I've put off getting a set of these for far too long, just because I don't encounter them very often, but if you ever run into an Allen head bolt that is stuck, you really need a way to break it loose, and that's where these come in. Now I can use my impact driver to loosen stuck Allen head bolts without too much risk of stripping them out. These seem to be well made and I like that they have the torsion zones on them just like some of the big brands have. This should greatly increase their potential life span.I also like that it comes with the extension bits. I've seen Allen head bolts that were very difficult to get to and the extension bits would help out greatly in getting to them. This set comes with both metric and SAE and has a great selection of bits. If you are looking to save a few bucks by not going with one of the big brands, this seems like a great set to go with. Recommended.

I had a couple of set screws on my expensive cacao melanger that needed a 2.5mm hex bit to tighten, but none of the hex bit sets I had were precise enough to work. I didn't really even know what size bit I needed until this set arrived, then I tried a few and the 2.5mm bit fit perfectly. The bit inserted into my impact driver with no hesitation, gripped tightly, and with one quick pull of the trigger, my set screw was set tight. I was very pleased. So this is my go-to hex bit set, now. The bits are long enough to reach the set screws that hold doorknobs on, and they are hardened so they're not going to be easy to strip out. Having both metric and SAE sizes in the same set means I don't have to hope I picked up the correct wrench set any more... yes, it's a minor thing, but it gives me a lot of happy.I wish the carrying case was better quality (mine arrived broken from rough handling during shipping), and it's difficult to remove the bits from the racks, but I like the bits so much that I'm not deducting any stars for poorly implemented storage. I think the only thing that could be nicer is for them to include a handle so the bits could be used in a pinch without having to get out my driver. But I can find something suitable, I'm sure.

I don't have to do Allen head screws a lot, but when I do it's usually a pain in the butt. I have 1 set of drill bits that are Allen, but they are all short - less than 1 inch. It seems that every time I have to use an Allen screw it needs a 2 or 3 inch wrench to get to it and then you can't go full circle with the wrench so it's turn, take off, get back in screw, turn, etc.. About 5 min and lots of frustration later you are done. Seeing this set of long Allen bits, I couldn't order them fast enough.I got them today and they are even nicer than I thought. Not only is it both SAE and Metric, but each set is labeled for the bit that goes in that place. On top of that each bit is also separately labeled in a clear fashion. I have one set screw I had to do that was down inside a cutout so I tried it on that. The bit fit snugly into the screw head and I used the low speed on the drill. No frustration, no cursing, just screwed it out, changed the attachment, then screwed it back in to secure it. Took about 30 sec.I don't know how hard the metal is or how well it will hold up, but I figure they will last me a while since I don't need them that often. I still have all my other Allen wrenches also that I can use for the initial loosening or tightening so I don't over stress these. They will just speed up the operations and reduce my frustrations.
