Has no adjustable Jet how you supposed to adjust fuel and air mixture so your engine runs the best. I would not recommend buying a carburetor from Amazon, I would not recommend purchasing this carburetor for any air cooled engine, there always has to be an adjustment available for engines, the air fuel mixture has to be adjusted, if there is no adjustment then the carburetor is useless, and i think I am done buying on amazon, how can you trust someone who uses short cuts to try to get something to only run? Again there must be adjustments for air fuel ratio, you can not drill one by someone's diagrams and put a non adjustable Jet in it...never ever works, must always be able to adjust air fuel mixture.I am very disappointed with this so called carburetor. Vehicles now have an ecm and the ecm adjust air fuel ratio!Why would you think the thing was there to begin with.

Carburetor bolts up tank and engine. Three small issues in construction. The small threaded hole for the choke rod bracket is the wrong thread. The small spring that puts tension on the choke lever are too stiff and the needle valve does not adjust properly. Just means you can’t adjust the fuel/air mixture. Must leave it mostly choked. I installed both of these on chipper shredders, so it’s not critical.

I used this to replace the carburator on my Merry Tiller. It had been hard to start and ran rough for years so I finally broke down and replaced it with this one. I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled the chord the first time and it fired right up and ran and idled perfectly.

This bolted right on, all linkage matched perfectly. Engine (Roto-Tiller) was shedded for 7 years. I ordered this carb. Replaced the carb, air filter and spark plug. Went from would not start to operating like new.

Put this on a bear cat 5hp wood chipper. Only problem I ran into was pickup tube was to long. No problem, cut tube shorter and worked great.

I installed on a very old B&S 5hp #135212. While the installation was a pain, that was not the fault of the carburetor, but B&S' rat nest of wires. The mounting was perfect. One tapped hole was #8 when the bolt I removed was #10 - likely just an issue with trying to make a generic replacement part that covers several minor B&S modifications - not an issue as standard ASE threads. The motor started right up. I am happy with the price and performance.

This carburetor kit worked perfectly on my 5hp craftsman tiller. It had all the gaskets needed and it was pretty simple to install if you have some mechanical skills. It started right up and ran excellent with no adjustments needed.

Gaskets and carb fit perfectly. Transferred any needed items from the old carb to this one, hooked up linkages, put gas in the tank, pulled starter rope and motor ran beautifully. No adjustments needed! If I need this style carb again, I will not hesitate to reorder this one! Used on a wood chipper, so its really a pain if it doesn't start the first couple of pulls. Flywheel is direct coupled to the motor, so it's a lot of mass to get spinning. This carb starts up beautifully and the chipper runs great at all speeds!
