Here is your warning weekend warriors: if the size of the clamp isn’t just a little bit bigger and is almost hard to get on don’t use them with confidence. And yes it was a personal experience.I needed 3/8 id and this set had the perfect size for those. I later needed a 1/2 id and the clamp was just too big. Not knowing this tip I clamped down and walked away. Well it was a disaster to say the least. You have been warned.

Another mechanic friend showed me these - awesome product! The perfect solution for replacing factory clamps, those crappy wire clamps and hose clamps. Have used them on vacuum, turbo and cooling systems. Simple to use, slide over hose and crimp with the pliers. And the pliers work very well, better than dikes. Some of the smaller one are a bit tricky to size, but once you figure it out they are simple. Highly recommend.
