I've been having problems with my current stirrups and I've worried that I can't get into/out of them safely enough. I ordered these knowing that they would be much larger and that I may be able to wear them through the winter with my mud boots or winter Sorrels. They're huge and a little heavy but I think that I can wear anything I want! I haven't tried the yet and hope to attach them to my saddle this evening. They appear to be well made and I believer that they will work very well for all seasons.Update: I rode these stirrups last night and they worked great! They are huge and another reviewer complained that your entire foot could slip through the stirrup. I guess that could happen but I just don't see it. I am very pleased because I wear a size 13 boot and now I can get into/out-of my stirrups smoothly and safely. I'm glad I bought these.
