The end that you insert was the exact diameter of the hub and would not go in. I took some pliers and slightly bent the lip inward all the way around and it went in.

I lost a cap off my 1999 EZ-GO TXT golf cart and these fit. I wasn't sure if they would but they did and that makes me happy. And the dog too, she loves golf cart rides.
