Water fountain works as it is supposed to, just didn’t work well for a small birdbath. The fountain has an automatic shutoff if the water is too low; and in a sunny area, the water dissipates quickly. I found myself having to refill the fountain more than once a day. I have no intention of spending my time constantly refilling the birdbath or hooking up a water source. If you have a pond or pool with more water, it will work great.

Very easy to use, some of the nozzles spray the water up pretty high, about 2 feet, which is great for 1.5 W.Keep in mind, this fountain only works when the sun is on it. It will not work in the shade. I like the straws included that can be attached to keep it more centered so it won’t float to the sides and spray water out of the fountain.

This works great as long as the sun is shining on it but it does not store energy. When there is a cloud overhead there is barely a trickle

Worked great for a couple of months, although only under direct full sunlight (between around 10 AM and 4 PM here in N TX), and I had to clean it often to keep the impeller turning freely and to keep the spray holes opened up. Cleaning was simple, though, and only took a couple of minutes. After a couple of months, it started fizzling out on me - the spray became sporadic and anemic, even with more cleaning, and then finally, it just quit working. I could hear the motor humming, but no spray, despite being completely cleaned and trying different spray heads. It just stopped spraying. Too bad, too, because we were really enjoying it. I wish someone could make one of the same design out of superior materials and heavier-duty construction, made to last. I'd gladly pay the higher price for it.

I agree with others that the slightest bit of cloud will stop the fountain. Mine occasionally get clogged with bits of grass and it's very easy to pop apart to clean. Many fountain head options. I stopped using the tall spray ones as I would find the water almost gone after the water sprays over the side of the bird bath.
