Aisin offers the highest quality oem timing kits on the market. At their price it's a great value and you get the satisfaction of knowing you put quality parts into your car. Everything fit perfect and was easy to install without a helper even the timing belt. Make sure you throughly clean and dry the mating surfaces of the water pump before install and don't use any sealant it's not needed.

I bought this kit for my Subaru Legacy third Gen 2.0 (JDM) and after looking at about 15 websites, I placed an order, Amazon told me this kit would not fit my car. Aisin never replied to my email, so I watched a few YT videos, and realized my car uses the same water pump this kit comes with (there are about 5 WP used on ej EJ2x engine)So if you're looking for a kit for the EJ2.5 or EJ2.0 this kit's for you.

This product is of excellent quality. I installed it on a 2004 Subaru Legacy Wagon with the EJ251 2.5L engine. Many timing belts are cheaper, but they are not a legitimate OEM competitor like Aisin.This timing belt kit comes with a nice sticker for the date and the mileage of the change to keep up with Subaru timing belt change intervals. Pay for the peace of mind of not blowing your engine up (for timing-related issues anyway).This product is sturdy and has actually seen two different engines in its 10,000-mile current use. A USDM EJ251 and a JDM EJ251. It still holds up and operates like new.I bought a gates kit first and the timing belt tensioner failed from new and ruined the first engine. The JDM engine had a failed oil pump, and the original engine was rebuilt. This kit worked for all of these instances even after a failed engine. Kudos to Aisin for a great product!

this kit was installe din a 2005 subaru outback with 2,5 litre single over head cam . perfect fit and read the instructions and follow them step by step and zero issues .

Aisin is the OEM for Subaru water pumps so I bought their kit. It also claims to include 2 gaskets on the box it only contains the main gasket. They constantly forget to put the foam seal into the kit. When you call AISIN North America they literally want you to leave a VM. You're a giant fortune 500 company and you cant take calls for product support ? Now I get to go to either A. Subaru parts dept or back to shopping online for a part that should of been included. Thanks for setting me back 5 days
