I did a lot of research on what makes a good rower and this was the one I chose. I wasn't spending $2000 on a rower, and I knew the $200 ones weren't going to cut it.The pedals are stationary and all the parts that are going to have stress on them are metal (pedals and the beam the seat travels on). The display is ok for what it is, nothing special, and the resistance isn't anything too hard either but a rower is more about cardio and less about resistance training I think. The seat is soft and travels really smoothly along the beam.I'm 6' tall and 260lbs and, besides my gut getting in the way, this feels comfortable for me. I get a good stretch at both ends of the movement. This is my first rower though so I really have nothing to compare it to, but I would definitely recommend it if someone were to ask me about it.A little tip...it took me an hour and a half to assemble it, it's pretty straightforward if you can read instructions and look at pictures. The tip being....if you have the tools that they provide (a Phillips head screw driver, a set of Allen wrenches and a socket set) use them. I bet I could have shaved 30mins off the set up time if I wouldn't have been so lazy that I didn't want to go to my garage and get them. All in all, it's a good purchase. Buy it.

It is a solid machine but took 2 hours to put together. You need to know how to manipulate the bolt as otherwise you won't be able to align the bolts to the holes. I am heavy handed and still struggled with proper tools. There is also a mistake in the instructions. The longevity of the product is yet to be determined.

A lot of parts to put together. It takes a while. Quite a few hours. Once everything is together it works pretty smoothly. The movement is nice and smooth, not jerky. It gives a pretty thorough workout, you can definitely feel it in the core. The seat is comfortable for a while. After a long workout you can definitely feel it after a while. Holds on to an ipad pretty securely which helps make the workout go smoother, able to throw on a streaming network and good to go. The display is very clear and easy to read to see how many reps and how long you e been using the machine. It’s a pretty large machine, takes up a lot of room and it’s pretty heavy to move. Sturdy machine. While you’re working, it stays in place and doesn’t move.

It took me a little over 2.5 hours to put the rowing machine together, and it's a very sturdy machine once assembled. I measured it to be 6.25 ft in length, 3.5 ft in height, and 1.5 ft in width (This width made it easy to find a storage spot). It is a heavy machine (I weighed it to be almost 72 lbs), but it has 2 casters at the front, which made it easy to move around. As far as performance, the machine operates rather quietly, the handle bars are comfortable to hold, and the rowing movement is really smooth. The seat easily moves back and forth along the rail, and while the seat itself is tolerable, it's not as cushioned as I would like it to be. The footrests have adequate width, and are fixed in a comfortable angle for my feet. Also, they are size adjustable for longer feet, and the straps are strong and really kept my feet in place while working out. While the LED monitor display was easy to read, and I was able to see all of the measurements as I worked out, I found using the Kinomap app a much better option for working out with and viewing measurements. The app was easy to download and to set up, and the machine quickly connected to it via Bluetooth. Also, I was able to connect within the app to my Apple Watch through Apple Health. However, one issue that I had with the app was that the body measurements were only shown using the Metric System and not also in the Imperial (American) System.Speaking more about the app, it has a free version with structured and free ride (Set your own terms) workouts, plus it has a paid premium unlimited version ($11.99/Month or $89.99/Year) with scenic workouts and coaching videos. The premium version does have a 44 day trial period for free. One other thing: The rowing machine has a 1 year warranty. My wife and have had the chance to use the rowing machine numerous times over the past 5 weeks, and we both agree that it is very close to a full body workout. I like that it has 10 different resistance levels, because it made my workouts even more challenging. Also, I like to use it as a warmup machine before I lift weights.Overall, I and my wife both like the rowing machine, and it is a great addition to our home gym.

Update three weeks later. No customer service, no parts available. After three weeks, the belt had a slice come off it, maybe installed incorrectly. I contacted customer service, they said it's two months for a replacement belt, so instead they sent me the belt number and told me to buy one myself and install it myself. I guess I can buy a $25 belt, installing looks....interesting. still a great rower, but forget ever getting any parts or service. When we get exercise equipment, we try and get the top of the line. That makes it more likely to be used, machines that aren't comfortable lead to the machine just gathering dust. This is a top of the line machine. It's very quiet, I don't need headphones to use the machine - it's almost whisper quiet. And smooth - it's the nicest home gym rower I've used by a mile. Everyone in the family tried the machine out, and the first comment from everyone was how smooth it is.It takes up very little space, we have it tucked against a wall and it's fine. My wife is able to move it herself, it doesn't take a lot of strength. The seat slides smooth but that's to be expected. Feet harnesses are comfortable. The electronics are a bit rudimentary, but that's fine, since I expect to only use it as a timer. And the display is large which is great - easy to read when I'm working out.Tension is changed by a red knob between the feet which seems like a problem - but it's actually very natural and easy to just bump it up or down a notch at the top of a stroke. It's in a great position. And the knob is tight, so changing tension in the middle of a workout is easy.It doesn't come with a screen probably to keep costs down. That's great, means I can use my phone or get a cheap tablet to leave on the machine. Plus it means I'm not tied to an app. I can use the provider suggested, or just watch YouTube videos if I want.I played with the app, it's initially a bit nonintuitive - i havent figure out the heart rate function yet- bit the real point is the app lets you watch workout videos related to rowing. A common feature on High end workout equipment, but I'm not tied to that one app.Overall, an excellent top quality rowing machine.

Habe nun meine erste Stunde auf dem Rudergerät absolviert. Nichts klappert oder wirkt billig. Ich bin also voll zufrieden.
