What Is Air Intake Hose?

Aftermarket replacements are also designed to be attractive, allowing enthusiasts to dress up their engine bays for car shows and other gatherings. 4x4 enthusiasts have their own version of the fresh air intake hose, often called a snorkel.The snorkel allows these enthusiasts to perform water crossings without worrying about hydro-locking their engines.

The air intake hose/fresh air duck works decently so far. It seems like it's made of durable material. I'm just not a fan of the metal hardware on most of these Chinese products. The screw heads strip easily and deform. Other than that, it was easy to install. I just hope the hardware last and keeps it clamped down.
