Super easy to install. Took my husband no time

The local Honda dealer gave us a price of $125 to replace the cracked and split intake hose on our 2008 Accord. Rather than pay so much money for a simple service, I ordered this replacement. It arrived a bit deformed and the clamps were bent, but they were easy enough to straighten out enough to install. It took my husband under 5 minutes to install this on the car, saving us over $100 in the process. The clamps on this don't seem to be the best though. They are rather thin and seem like the could break from fatigue over time. Plus the tail on the airbox side is very long. It would be nice if this had better clamps, so we ended up saving the clamps off of the old hose in case we need them in the future.Overall I think this is an excellent value, but since there is room for improvement in the clamps and packaging so it doesn't get crushed and deformed, I am rating it 4 out of 5 stars.

The air intake hose looks similar to the OEM that came originally in a 2012 Honda Accord SE. Except for a few rough edges, cheap clamps, and soft rubber material. When it comes to quality, this hose is not as strong and well-made as the Honda original part. It still works but I doubt it will last too long.
