This wrist strap is easy to put on without help and it stays put until you remove it. The material is flexible enough to be comfortable yet it gives plenty of support. It is designed for cooks who lift heavy pans to give their wrists some support and help reduce strain. The material is easy to clean and sanitize if needed. You do not need to be a chef in order for this to help you though. I'm not, but I have a wrist that tends to over flex at times and this strap really helps despite it being very simple looking. The magnetic closure is strong and doesn't come apart until you want it to.

This is not a brace to go bowling in, I wouldn't want to wear something like that all night. This brace is a light compression and support, it offers an almost full range of mobility depending on your placement. It is secure and doesn't slip around, fits really well. It doesn't impede movements and is designed well. I have actually used this on my ankle as well, and it makes a good reminder to not overuse an injured spot. So whether you are dealing with an injury, or just a well used joint, this light mobility brace should help correct the problem.

Update 3/20/2025I discovered breakage in the rubber around a couple of magnets. See photos attached. Basically in less than 2 months of use, the bracelet is starting to break. Longevity is not a strength of this brace.Update 3/11/2025:It's been over a month and I continue to try using this in the kitchen hoping it would work and it has. I've figured out how to tighten the bracelet, finally, and for the last 4 weeks this bracelet has supported well. I wear it on one wrist and wear a weight lifting compression brace on another. I like my weight lifting wrist brace a lot but prefer this Aider because it is thinner, lighter and offers comparative wrist support. Changing my rating to 4 stars because it works great. Only negative is it costs 5 times my weight lifting brace.1/29/2025 Review of Aider Magnetic wrist support brace: $49.99I'm confused by this product. I wanted something to help with bracing and supporting my wrist. While I'm not a chef, I do find myself in the kitchen slicing, stirring and washing. I also figured this could be helpful working on the computer. The idea of having some support when typing, mousing or handling cast iron pans is appealing. The problem I have with this Aider Cook Brace is it doesn't offer support. Viewing the item descriptions and photos, the word support is used many times. This narrow magnetic bracelet doesn't compress, isn't wide enough to cover a lot of wrist space. I'm not feeling any support in my wrist and I don't understand how the support happens. The only things going for it are:1. It's cleanly designed and easily cleaned.2. I can wear this on my left wrist when I'm doing repairs on the house or building something in the yard. The magnet can hold some extra nails and screws.3. I can use it to hold keys on the fridge as a strong magnetic key holder.1 star as a wrist support device. There is no support.Adding 1 star because I can find other good uses for a magnetic band.
