I always keep a pair of very forgiving, stretchy, comfy black pants in my wardrobe. My last pair became less forgiving with my weight change. It has been 4 years since I had a need for them. Summer or winter, boots or sandals, flowing tank or jacket and blouse, Any season, any event. I'm 5'5 210lbs and I bought a petite xl. Absolutely perfect! Virtually wrinkle proof and pill proof. Gals, you can adjust the height by wearing them at your natural waist (above the belly) to shorten or at the hip (below the belly) to lengthen. A must have for every woman's wardrobe especially at this price!

I have another pair of these pants and they fit me just right - I am only 5 foot 1, so on me they aren't as short as they are in the product photo; they fall right at my ankle. They are between straight leg and palazzo in width, which is what I was looking for. These pants dress up nicely with a nice top, so I have worn them in both the daytime and the evening, which makes them work well for me for traveling. They also wash well and dry quickly.

These pants are great! I love the fabric, because it keeps me cool. Great length for someone short like me. I have since bought another pair. They have held up great. Waistband isn’t too tight, that’s usually what I have a problem with. Great fit.

I purchased these for a cruise and found them to be one of my favorite pieces. They are very comfortable and you can dress them up or down. I wore them for one of the formal nights with a nice blouse and I didn't feel out of place. I'm 5'4, 130 lbs and based on the reviews ordered a petite small. My only complaint is my pants ran short. If I wore them at my waist, the hem landed above my ankle. I had to wear them lower on my waist to get the length long enough to hit my ankle. I would have liked them just a little bit longer but didn't want to return them. I can't wait to wear these again this summer.

I like these pants but there are things you need to know. They run really large. According to the size chart and various online reviews, I ordered a petite (I'm 5') XL. I sent them back and got a petite M. They are still big. It cost me nearly as much as the pants to have them hemmed. The inseam on my pants was 31. If you are short and you sew, then fine. I like them; they look nice...but they are a bit flimsy and not super well made. Afraid of what will happen when I wash them. Keeping my fingers crossed that the elastic waist won't fall out.

Bottom line up front: Fit fine in the waist and legs, liked the cut, and fabric felt nice, but had to return them because the petite was far too long for me.The details: I was on the fence about keeping these because I loved the fit and feel, and these pants were perfect for casual wear. Unfortunately, they were ridiculously long. At 5'2", I'm used to having petite length trousers be just a shade too long, and I get why. The ideal length for me would probably be too short for someone at 5'4", so companies have to compromise, and I'm usually fine if I wear shoes with some lift. But I'd need stilts to make these work. I considered getting them hemmed, but the cost wasn't worth it in comparison to the price of the pants.I ordered these via Prime Wardrobe, so I also got a regular length pant for comparison. The regular was longer, but not by much. If you're of average height, you might want to try both a petite and a regular length for comparison. Depending on how you intend to wear them, a petite might actually better suit you.Summary: If you're of average height or taller, these pants could work for you. If you're on the short side, you'll need to be able to hem these yourself or be willing to pay to have it done. I wasn't. That said, they're very comfortable and have a nice silhouette; if the company changed the lengths so that they compared to what you find in stores, I'd buy three pairs in a heartbeat.

These pants were a flattering cut and allow enough stretch to go up or down a size. The only reason I did not provide five stars is because the overall quality was slightly below par. For stage or from a few feet away, they look fine, however upon closer inspection, the material is just okay and some of the stitching at the center back seam was not the best. If you have a shorter inseam (29 inches) you may either need to wear high heels or have the pants hemmed. Surprisingly the waistband elastic looks much better than I anticipated. When on the body the waistband smoothes out nicely and doesn't look gathered. I ended up returning these pants and the company was very prompt in providing a full refund. For the right purpose, these would be decent pants, just not right for me.

I love these pants. I searched all the "fine" dress shops but could never find the palazzo style but Amazon came to my rescue. I always travel light and have stopped wearing formal attire on cruise ships so these pants are perfect! The style is dressy and easily can be made VERY dressy with the right accessories. For me, the fit is overall perfect, but I do agree they are longer than most petites. I avoid hemming whenever possible so if you are under 5'3" you may have to hem. The style was also very flattering. They are lightweight and even though it is a polyester blend (I try to avoid polyester at all costs) these feel great and not hot. It must be the blend. My weight fluctuates from 158 to 163 (now 163), so I ordered LARGE petite. I don't agree that the pants appear "cheap" as some have commented. Also, the palazzo width is just right...not overly wide.
