giving this 2 stars as i guess it looks decent now that i finally got it together, but it arrived with one of the wood panels nearly split in half making it almost impossible to put together, the instructions had MANY of the steps missing (like it appeared that they just stopped writing instructions halfway through LOL) and the parts were all thrown in one combined, unlabeled, bag lol. none of the wood panels were labeled either. they didn’t make it easy to put this thing together. looks decent in my room, but you might be better off getting something else bc it’s VERY cheaply made.

The good: Once you get it assembled and attached to your bedframe, it actually looks nice.The bad: The only reason I got it assembled and attached to my bedframe is because I am mechanically inclined and know my way around a tool shop.There were no instructions included whatsoever. Nothing. Not even BAD instructions. Just NONE. Now, it is a simple enough design that it isn't that hard to figure out, but that doesn't excuse this.Then, once I had it assembled and ready to install on the bedframe, I discovered that the mounting hardware fittings had been factory-installed with the incorrect measurements. It was too narrow to fit into the bedframe mounting brackets by about 3/4 inch... just enough to be frustratingly close. One might be tempted to try and bend it to fit... but one would be unwise to do so, as it would *absolutely* splinter the cheap wood.My solution was to drill new holes and use through-bolts to attach it. It worked, but it should not have been necessary.This is absolutely a case of "you get what you pay for." If you have a little know-how, you can make it fit. But if you aren't so-inclined and want something that works the way it was designed to from the start, skip this one. Pay a little more for a higher-quality product.I do not recommend this headboard.

love it! kind of complicated to put together but i managed to do it alone. the screw holes didn’t line up with my bed frame so it’s a little wobbly but that’s a me problem lol

The headboard was surprisingly easy to assemble and it looks really nice. Not too flimsy either. My mom said 4 white caps should be included with the headboard to cover the bolts on the side. I personally don't think it's a big deal because the bolts are set inside the wood and not really visible. But guess who gets to shop around for 4 caps that are 1.5 cm in diameter? Have to keep Mumsy happy.
