WATCH OUT - this product causes tears. My kid yelled and cried for like 30 minutes because these things work so well that he got it caught on the roof - not once, but twice!! :) great quality - in solid packaging that we've kept to store it in - it's exactly what you always wanted all the cheap little parachute guys you got from gumball machines or in party favors to be.

Colors in pictures are wrong! Bought this for my son as a stocking stuffer and would have been fine with any of the colors shown but ended up with hot pink! Nowhere does it mention that's a possibility and now that I'm going back reading reviews, it sounds like the exact thing has happened to several others. I can't speak on the quality yet and probably won't since I won't be giving it as a gift now.

While the delivery was as expected, I am initially disappointed in the item. I ordered 2 of the toys for my 2 sons, and while I knew that the colours were selected randomly by the warehouse staff, I was not expecting to receive 2 bright pink items that are not even shown as a colour on the picture for the item. I believe that if you are not going to bother to pick colours randomly but just want to get rid of certain stock then you should at least give us the option of picking our colours. I will update the review on using the items.Updated 3 Mar 2017:Quality:After I finally got around to giving the toys to my sons and opening them, I thought I'd update the review. The packaging was good and protected the toys from getting damaged, and was easy to open. They seem to be made of good quality material and well put together. After having had other less well made items that lasted a day or so of use, I'm hoping these will last a wee bit longer for my 4 and 3 year old sons.Use:Due to the large parachute and long ribbon between the parachutist and parachute, the parachute takes longer to open than regular toys. This makes it harder for young kids to throw them up in the air and have the parachute open. I've tried throwing them inside the house (high ceilings) and ican make them open, but they will generally come down quickly. For outside use they are great if you can throw them off something (balcony, stairs etc.) and will entertain the kids for a while.Overall:While the initial disappointment over the colour choice was frustrating, my sons are young enough not to be bothered by the colours and the quality of the item has made me increase my rating from 1 star to 3. I will see how they hold up to regular use and will update again.

These were actually much better quality toys than I expected. The parachutes are sturdy, as are the little guys dangling from them. My kids have had endless fun tossing these from our stairs, their play-yard, down their sledding hills on our property, and from our deck outside, which is quite elevated. The toys right themselves easily/parachute down really well even if you just sling 'em out there, and have withstood tons of abuse from my really active kiddos. :) It was also extra fun using these at night, because they do indeed glow in the dark. We have a fire pit that we use often outside, and my youngest loves tossing it around (not near the fire, obviously) while we are out there dining/roasting marshmallows/hanging out around the fire in the evening/at night. They have gotten chewed on a little bit by our dog (who decided glowing little men parachuting from our deck must be captured and destroyed), stomped on by our kids, thrown around in all sorts of circumstances, accidentally left out in the rain and snow, and still they endure like the troopers that they are. :) I have 2 kiddos, so it is always nice to get 2 in a pack so they don't have to squabble over them.

Not bad, great idea so there are no tangles. Can remember when I was a kid spending half the time undoing the strings all tangled up. As one reviewer mentioned it does require a strong arm. I taped a small weight to mine for my 5 year old and that helped. I will say the younger kids will loose interest fairly quickly since they can't throw it that high but for $5 it is the best thing I've seen for a while.

I like the rip stop material that is used for the parachute. The netting in place of traditional strings allows for a fuss free pack and guaranteed successful opening when launched. I am using the Aeromax 2000 attached to one of my RC Airplanes and when at high altitude I can remotely drop the Aeromax 2000. We had around 10 awesome RC drops and the high visibility color worked great. At well over 500 ft we are able to track it's movements and follow it's path directly to the ground. What a lot of fun and we haven't even shown the kids yet. Seems durable and with proper care should last awhile if I don't lose it during a higher altitude drop.So far it's great and was worth a little more investment than the other parachutes. I can't see how a child would be entertained with this by hand launching. It does not gain much altitude by a just hand throw. I also have a Hyper Dog Ball Launcher that will probably be a good idea when I am not using my RC Airplanes and might be useful to those parents who are purchasing these for the kids. Otherwise expect to throw your arm out appeasing the many requests from the younger ones to throw it as high as you can.Some possible launching ideasBeginner RC Airplane - using additional drop module
