Not a bad neck guard, but it's just not enough protection for medium to high level ice hockey goal-tending.Has rubber protection that is not thick enough. Better than nothing, but there is better protection out there.

I’m 5’10”, 175lbs. Got the L/XL and it fits fine.Took a clapper to the manubrium (upper sternum/lower throat) and only felt a thump. If I wouldn’t have been wearing it, I probably would have been out for the game.I’m not sure on how anti-cut this is to the sides of the neck, and don’t want to test it out. It has padding covering your neck from about 9-o’clock to 3-o’clock, and three separate pads to cover your clavicles and manubrium under your chest protector.It works. Get it.

Hubby is a goalie and was looking for a neck guard like this for quite a while, to replace his very worn out one. He was skeptical when it arrived as it is quite thin, but it has done its job well.

Great for players, fits nice and snug under the shoulder pads and provides impact protection where your pads don't, on your upper chest. Will be buying another one for backup. Also very comfortable

With world wide hockey orgnisations mandating neck guards, (which is a legal knee jerk to the now manslaughter incident on the UK - it was not accidental :-(That being said the Aegis is very comfortable to wear and without fully testing appears to give good protection.

I previously had a CCM throat guard that covered the upper chest with short sleeves and it protected well but it was a terrible quality and it ripped after several games. The Aegis Interceptor is extremely comfortable and protects really well. I wear this instead of the plastic dangler because I hate the noise of the dangler against the mask. The Aegis Interceptor is lightweight but offerers good protection from high shots. It has also held up really well through 20 plus games. It looks brand new still. I highly recommend it.

I have used several different goalie neck guards in the past. This has very good protection and a comfortable fit.

My 08' son likes his new Interceptor-G neck guard. He recently had a puck sneak up under his dangler andsays this make him feel more protected and it fits comfortably. Easy to clean after practice.
