This works good I installed on a 07 street glide it went on pretty easy, had to massage a couple things well one thing for install and one for my liking. The piece that anchors to battery/sub frame was a tad over bent 36.6 deg I took it to 47.2 fit great. The other thing i changed was a 22 deg bend about 2.5 inches from back rest start, I did this because for me it was reclined a tad to much. For me to rest against it I had to use finger tips on grips . No big deal works great now.

I used to have the very expensive Harley unit. The quality of this, in my opinion, is as good. It installs easily and is pretty comfortable. If I had any wish, it would be that the backrest was angled a bit more forward. For the way I sit in the saddle, this has just a bit too little support.I’m considering taking the bracket and having it bent a bit to compensate for this.Otherwise - this is an amazing value.

Backrest was not what I thought it would be. Easy enough to install. When backrest is slid down with seat installed there is no way to tighten height screw. Seat backrest will slide up and down freely. Also, backrest does not fold forward to allow you to throw leg over. I returned unsatisfied with purchase.

This is a quality item that takes minutes to install. I used it on my cross country MC trip and it worked flawlessly. If you are worried about the reviews that complain about the lack of, or poor instruction, just watch the video. If you still can't figure it out...ask a friend. It takes no time at all to install.

I could not believe how fast the back rest was delivered. Extremely happy with the product, easy to install and all the brackets lined up beautifully. My back has never been so good since I installed the rest !!!!!!!!I would recommend this product to all riders who suffer from sore backs on a long ride.Cheers: Barry

Got this backrest yesterday. Somewhat easy to install on my '09 Street Glide. Instuctions are vague and aren't very helpful. Took several times to find the right length that would work for the post to fit through the hole. Had to force it a bit to fit in the horizontal slots. My perfect fit was right between two of the slots. Last slot was useless. Extended carriage bolt all the way. Would have worked better if the slots were vertical.BIGGEST issue - The nut that holds the main carriage bolt was missing. Thankfully I had a spare that fit or I'd be making a trip to the hardware store. Bag with nuts, bolts and washers was useless. I've read many reviews and several say they were missing the nut. You would think someone with this company would recognize the issue and fix it.Had a Mustang backrest on my previous motorcycle so I have something to compare it to. Material seems sturdy. Padding seems plush and chrome finish is nice. Very comparable.So, I'm happy with my purchase. For the price it seems worth it.
