I purchase and use foam sealants 3-4x per year, for various projects, and I've always looked at the shelf of larger multi-use canisters above the small single-use bottles with a certain amount of curiosity and FOMO. This foam gun cleaner (along with a foam gun) is the answer to my questions. Nothing about spray foam is easy to clean, but I don't expect it to be because of the nature of the product. For that reason, I don't my cleaning attempts to offer "lifetime use" of my gun, but I am excited to not be forced to use a bottle of foam completely, and also for the extra reach of this gun.

I will update this once I have used it. Received exactly as described and pictured. Hopefully it will extend the life of the spray foam gun. I saw one review where a professional said this type of product had questionable value and he typically had to throw away the gun after 1 or 2 uses.

If you run a PU foam gun, then you absolutely must have this stuff to clean out the tool. Failing to do so diligently will quickly destroy the gun. The Adhesive Guru cleaner works like all the others and costs about the same. You should just buy a case of this stuff if you do any work with foam guns. No complaints here, but this brand is also nothing special in effectiveness or value.

If you're using a higher quality spray foam gun then it's worth the small investment to keep it clean and working properly. This cleaner is meant for removing uncured foam from the spray tube of the gun. You can also use it to wipe off any excess that's gotten on the outside. Don't try and use it on foam that's already cured. That's easy enough to remove by hand anyway. It's not a huge bottle but will last long enough for my occasional projects around the house where I'm insulating.

Came well packaged with nothing dented or broken. Seems like a good value. Will update when I get some more use out of it.

The cap was a little difficult to pry out, but I like that there is a spray nozzle in addition to the attachment for the spray gun. You can use it to spray for cleaning off other surfaces like overspray onto a glass window, etc. It says it can be used on fabric/clothing but I haven't tried that. I'd spot test first if it's something you care about, or if it's just work clothes and it doesn't matter go for it!Note - this only works before the foam has dried, so be diligent about cleaning out the gun tip right away when you're done.
