You have to turn on the switch on the back of the solar house number light to make it work automatically. It will automatically light up at night, turn off the lights at dawn, and automatically charge under sunlight during the day.

light is bright so numbers are well illuminated. Since power is solar, on very cloudy or overcast days, the charge doesn't last very long, but overall I'm very happy with the quality of the product for the price.

Researched I purchased numerous address signs in 2022. I purchased about 40 signs for my mobile home park. Easy to assemble and looked great. They have been in use on each lot for less than a year with poor results as follows: some digits dropped off, many background colors changed from choices (controlled on product back) of pure white to dingy pale yellow. Each sign needs complete overhaul. Difficulties: what cleaning product for weather beaten signs; how to adhere letters/numbers again; all signs with problems were removed to approach issues; upon repairs, must reinstall each sign. If possible, please advise cleaning and letters adhesive products to remedy my problems.

Very simple to put together, the numbers stuck really well, the template helps space the numbers perfectly, there is 3 or 4 light settings, you can control the brightness with a push of a button on the device, very satisfied with the ease, look and price>

Even on a cloudy day, the lamp gains enough stored sunlight to shine all night The numbers are easy to read at a distance. Really like being able to put this in my yard without batteries or electricity. Was easy to stick into the ground. So pleased with this product. Have told others at work about this product.Maria

Nothing is more frustrating to a delivery person, or service person to have to find the right house. This made all of these issues go away. It clearly displays my house numbers and the added solar panel for automatic lighting at night is great as well.Happy with this purchase.

Our house number is on the front door, and between the storm door & the massive tree in the front yard, it’s super hard to find for delivery people. After the fourth misdelivered package in a month, I decided to do something about it, and ordered this sign.It is SUPER easy to put together. The pole is in 3 pieces that just push together, and the stickers for the address were easy to apply with the little guide cutouts that come with it. After that, you just go poke it into the ground somewhere and angle the little solar panel where you want.I was worried the sign wouldn’t get enough sun, courtesy of the aforementioned massive tree, but I have the sign angled to catch the afternoon sun, and despite being in shade for 70% of the day, it catches plenty.The white light setting is shockingly bright, so I have it on one of the warm light settings. It’s still bright and clearly visible/easy to read, but I feel less like my sign will be a nuisance to my neighbors.If you’re on the fence about purchasing this sign, I’m telling you, you won’t regret it. It’s awesome!

As it's starting to get dark earlier and earlier in the fall, it's harder for the delivery people to see my address in the dark. And with the holidays coming up, with increased package deliveries, the temporary workers that they hire don't care if they deliver to the correct address, they just want to get rid of all their packages. Don't even get me started on why they can't even ring the doorbell when dropping off a package.Last Christmas, so many of my packages were left at another address. Thank goodness the neighbors were kind were kind enough to drop them off at my address.I knew I needed a lighted address sign, but the ones that attach to my house don't get enough sunlight, so i need one that could be put further away from my house to get more direct sunlight. This was the perfect solution for me.Assembling the unit was a snap. It literally takes less than one minute to put it together. You will spend more time sticking the address numbers onto it because you want them to be evenly spaced. And this process is simplified because they supply you with 2 templates.Once that's done, all you have to do is stick it into the ground and turn it on. It couldn't be simpler.One other thing, while I was looking for this sign, I came across other similar ones, that were more expensive. Don't be fooled, look at the pictures and read the descriptions; They are the same thing.***IMPORTANT***After I sufficiently charged the unit, the light didn't turn on. So I kept pressing the button on the back, still nothing. It wasn't until I accidentally realized that the button on the back was actually a toggle switch. You need to tap it to the left to cycle thru the different modes. I hope this helps someone out that might find themselves in a similar situation.
