Ordered this as a project for my son and I to do over the winter months, turns out it’s so simple that we did it in a weekend. He’s 11.The plastic themselves are almost identical to the oem plastic on our 2022 klx110r. My son hadn’t ridden it much (maybe 1/2 a dozen times brand new) prior to the project, so the ones on the bike are virtually brand new as well so it’s a fairly apples to apples comparison.Out of the gate, these plastics though look similar required a little bending to match the screw holes. Not a ton, some more than others, but still worth noting. When swapping the pieces, make sure to move the spacer, washers, and extra hardware from the oem over to the new plastic. You only get the plastic with this set. Absolutely nothing else, so it’s not a 100% swap out. You’ll still reuse a lot. This is our 1st attempt so maybe that is to be expected. Caught us by surprise but we managed.Ours came as a bundle with everything except the number plate so we had to order the matching black one separately. Speaking of bundle, the tote that all the pieces arrived in; was marker with a label that read for klx110 2010-22. This was very reassuring since I didn’t see it spelled out anywhere. The downside of the bundle was that several of the pieces had pretty substantial scratches though individually package. Can’t tell if it’s because of the bundle or if they were just damaged prior to packaging. For the most part, a 8 mm socket is the tool that’s required. I did also use a Philips screwdriver, a drill, a small drill bit, and had to purchase a rivet gun with 1/8” rivets. Is this a good set for a complete swap. Yes (mostly), but the lack of hardware, some inaccurate holes, and damaged pieces; really brought down the score for me.Also the need to drill out a wire management piece from the oem and re-rivet into the new rear fender definitely didn’t make it an easy swap (pretty certain the oem plastics comes with the wire management anchor riveted in).I may buy again now that I’ve been through the process with these plastics but would look elsewhere first to see if others offer the hardware with the plastics.
