It's a filter lol. I will say, look into a filter lock! These filters don't always stay put in the transmission and can cause issues. I found out the hard way. Don't make the same mistake as me!

Make sure you don’t neglect maintaining your Allison transmission. It is a pretty easy install and all the bolts are accessible. OEM so can’t go wrong.

Fits my 07 2500HD classic LBZ T1000 6 speed Allison transmission. A little more loose than the one that came out, but it’s also a hair bigger with the new design.

Easy instructions. Was the exact part. Had new o ring on filter. Fit just like it should.
