Went with A/C Delco parts for difficult installation (Dash Removal) in 2002 2500HD Silverado. Part fit exactly as factory. No leaks. Go with A/C Delco you don't want to go back in there. Has been installed for two Months now with no issues.

I bought a Carquest evap 2 years back, and as you can see now, I bought the factory OEM that I should have bought in the first place. I will only buy oem for my truck from now on...

It's always good to go with OEM. Especially when you have to go through the hassle it takes to get to a part like this for replacement. My only issue is the shipping method. For the life of me I don't understand why something like this or a heater core would simply come in a shipping box and not it's own box within the shipping box to avoid damaging the aluminum fins. I am returning for a replacement.Again it's good to go with OEM but packaging leaves much to be desired...Update: Going with 4 stars instead of my original 3. Replacement came in looking a lot better than the first one ordered. Still some bent fins but not enough to make me weary about installing it. Evap been going strong since installation. At the end of the day when it comes to hard to install parts always...and I mean ALWAYS, go with OEM replacements!

Sure ... you can get the "Spectra," or some other knockoff for a lot less than the AC Delco, and it will "work," but there's no way it's built better than the AC Delco replacement I received, which is a dead bang match for the OE on my 2001 Chevy Suburban, right down to all the adhesive insulating strips you need to make it fit/work just right in the OE HVAC unit.If you're going through the ENORMOUS hassle of ripping your whole dash apart to get the HVAC unit out from behind it, don't be a fool and cheap out on the single most important replacement part you're putting in there. I did it, got the whole HVAC unit and dash put back together, it's got my AC system working like new again, and I know it will continue doing so, for at least as long as this car keeps running. Very pleased!

Came in Original ACDelco Box. Perfect fit for my 2002 2500HD with 6.0L Gas engine. Since you have to remove the entire dash to install this, I didn't want to take a chance with anything but true ACDelco. So labor intensive, it is worth a few extra bucks to go with OEM.
