This blanket is great for covering the back of the couch in summertime(sweaty people...) and also for wrapping around you when a light chill comes around. It's probably a good picnic blanket or beach blanket too though I have yet to do those things with it. Much better than a fake fleece blanket! Can also embroider it or personalized it with fabric paints etc. It's a good base blanket!

I ordered the khaki color and it's actually a light pink wash. It's really pretty and I love the fabric, but I absolutely did not want a pink shade. It may not be a big deal for others but it throws off my color scheme. Three stars for quality, 1 star off for wrong color, 1 more star off because now I have to go drop it off for return.

I ordered it because it was listed as weighing more than competing blankets did for the same size blanket. I figured that would mean either thicker and/or tighter weave than competing blankets.This blanket seems well made. I washed it before use (oddly, it came without any care instructions so I washed it in cold water and dried at low temperature). Most people complain about how much lint competing blankets throw off in the dryer so I expected a lot of lint from this one. But to my surprise, there was minimal lint, no more than when I wash cotton clothes or towels.There was minimal shrinkage from washing and drying......less than 2" of length and width. Nor were than any hanging threads or other apparent deterioration in the fabric after washing.Unfortunately, it just isn't warm enough even though the weave does not appear overly porous. It needs to be 50% - 100% thicker. As it is, it is a fine quality blanket sufficient only when you don't need a blanket.
