Accel 4049 are great wires for 80's Chevy 350 with wires that are run beneath the exhaust manifolds. By contrast, the Accel 4048 set is for over the valve cover applications only. These 4049 wires have the extra length needed to avoid hitting the manifolds.

I bought these to replace the ones already on truck.. they are 9 years old and work but one wire got melted, too close to header.. I will replace before spring and update later

Wires are not the ones shown in the pictures, they do NOT have to tab on them to be connected to the distributor retainer. Save your time and money, very deceiving seller

I am sure these wires are fine for replacement of the stock wires, but I would not call these "custom" wires. Based on the product description I thought I would be able to cut these to fit my "custom" needs. This is not true. They come already cut and assembled to length and therefore will not work if your "custom" project truly requires "custom" length wires.
