i have a couple of ps4 controllers that have been disassembled and cleaned a couple of times (stick drift) and the ribbon cables are kindof delicate - reassembly is hard unless you have small hands, and i borked the reinsertion of the cable end to the motherboard, causing the traces to be worn or dislodged, resulting in unreliable function. these replacement cables seem more durable, maybe because theyre new, or maybe because they are a little better manufacture. Definitely would buy again, if i needed them.
