Fits well and looks the same as OEM. But the rope is too short to be suitable for a lawn mower. It reaches the end of the rope while pulling on it. I removed the cord and installed the OEM cord to add 1 to 2 feet more in length. If this recoil starter was used on a mower as-is, I suspect it would become broken pretty quickly since many people have an overly-hefty throw when they yank on the pull cord to start a mower engine.

Qualities OK I was hoping the rope would be a little bit thicker than it is. I’m sure it will work fine but it’s definitely not as thick as the OEM rope that came with my device..The plastic housing is also a little bit thin compared to my OEM one I just chalk that up to this being a cheaper replacement.If you do need upholstery replacement, though this will suit the bill and it’s quite cheap. I probably only use the posting once or twice a year. I mostly use electric start.
