Takes multiple flushes to get waste down the toilet with this macerating pump. I only have about an 8 foot vertical drain pipe, but when flushing, the toilet bowl fills, takes about 30 seconds for it to suck the water out, and it leaves waste at the bottom of the toilet.You should know that I purchased a second macerating pump under another name, only to find out it's the same pump with a different brand badge on it. That pump behaved the exact same way, which confirms to me that it's not a defective pump. It's just not near as powerful as the listing states.When I contacted them through Amazon they told me to email a particular address. I did that, along with another email address found in the instruction manual. No reply after a week. I returned it.

This was just the right fit for my bathroom that needs a pump like this. It’s easy to install, not very noisy at all, and seems to be made a good quality materials. This is a must have for below grade bathrooms.

I had high hopes for this macerator pump, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The installation was more complicated than expected, and after just a few uses, it started making loud noises. It struggles to pump efficiently, and sometimes it just stops working altogether.The build quality feels cheap, and I wouldn’t trust it for long-term use. Definitely not worth the investment!
