Some technical background, knowledge is helpful. Once you detach the screws and harness everything comes out as 1 piece. Replace the part and screws and you're all set!! We have a 50" Craftman T260. Perfect replacement part.

It installed easy and worked great for two mows. Then suddenly got hard to move the throttle. Cable snapped inside the plastic housing last week.

This is an exact fit for our cub cadet and part number. Keep in mind that the throttle cable will need to be clamped to the engine block the same way as the old Cable. When you loosen the bolt to release the throttle cable, of the old cable, make a note of how far away from the throttle that the clamp is. Match that up with a new cable and clamp it into place. Should have no issues going forward.

This went in really easily, the length was perfect, hardly required any adjustment, and the throttle band actually appears to be a little wider than OEM. I recommend it.
