The area of the handle where the push button is, is the weakest point of the wand. Two of these have broken in the same spot. The wand breaks in the handle area. Lasts about a year then buy a replacement.

I am 50 years old and just had 4 vertebrae in my lumbar spine fused. I purchased this product on my own and choose to review it without any influence. After my surgery heals (3 months) I will be learning how to bend differently after not being allowed to bend at all for 3 months. During this time, it is impossible for me to put on my own sox or clean my butt. I am ok with asking my wife for help with sox but I would like to keep the other task a personal affair. To that end this product holds the paper (or wet wipe) in place so it can be used effectively then you can easily release it. It makes the process clean and easy. If you have trouble bending or reaching in any way then you owe it to yourself to give this a try. It truly is a great product.

Due to a back injury, I cannot twist in order to clean as I need to. This item makes all the difference in the world. ... Use a pushing motion, not pulling motion. I also use a little vaseline with the second wipe to get completely clean.
