My kiln only came with one shelf, and I needed another one, so ordered this. My kiln is smaller at 11x9, with 11 being the width. This shelf did not fit by 1/4 inch on the corners because my kiln is hexagonal. I had already put kiln wash on it, so could not return it. So, I used a wet saw, and was able to cut the excess on the corners. It worked wonderfully! Highly recommend this shelf.

This is just the product for the bottom of a small forge. It can be cut to size with the right tools and little effort, (see Youtube videos). It is great for saving the bottom of the forge from fluxes, and can even be set over a bed of non-clumping clay kitty litter for added protection. I am using it, I like it, and it works great.
